Class Attendance
Refunds or prorating will not be issued due to absences.
MAKE-UP POLICY: Only 5 make-ups per year are allowed. It is the parent’s responsibility to schedule a make-up through the parent portal located on the DDI App. Make-ups cannot be scheduled after April 30, as classes will be working on their recital dances.
IN CASE OF INCLEMENT WEATHER: DDI will be closed if the weather is dangerous. If the weather is questionable, check our website and/or Facebook for closing information. We do not follow any particular school district closings. There are NO make-ups due to bad weather closings.
Withdrawal
Withdrawal from class must be emailed to info@destinydanceinstitute.com by the 5th of the month prior to dropping. If notified after the 5th, the next months tuition will be charged. You will be held responsible for all tuition and fees due until proper withdrawal has been submitted.
June Performance
Performing is optional, but is considered an integral part of a student’s dance training. The December recital will be TBD. The June recital will be held June 20 and 21, 2025. All recitals will be held at The Jones Performing Arts Center at Louisburg College. There is no dress rehearsal for the December recital. Dress rehearsal for the June recital will be held at the studio June 16-19, 2025. If you cannot or do not wish to participate in our productions, you must inform DDI upon registration. There is no guarantee that siblings will be in the same show. Dancers registered in different age classes will possibly be in different shows.
Dress Code
Destiny Dance Institute has a dress code for all classes. A copy of the dress code is found on the website and in our app. All dress code items for pre-dance, pre-ballet, ballet, jazz, tap and musical theater must be purchased at DDI. Hip-hop dancers are welcome to wear street clothes for class. Dancers in these classes will need to be in dress code no later than October.
2 & 3 Year Old Classes
Parents of 2-3 year old students are required to stay in the building during the class. This is to insure the safety and comfort of your child and for visits to the restroom.
Studio/Facility
No one is permitted in a studio room unless they are partaking in a dance class. Please do not allow younger siblings to play in an empty studio. ,
