JUNE PERFORMANCE

Performing is considered an integral part of a student’s dance training. DDI strives to prepare each student for a successful performance experience. Therefore, a dress rehearsal is mandatory for all students performing in the end of year production. Dancers who miss dress rehearsal will not be permitted to perform unless prior written notice has been given to the studio and instructor and has been approved by the director. Sickness is not excused without a doctor’s note! Dates for these events are usually posted by October 1st.. If you cannot or do not wish to participate in our production, you must inform DDI upon registration.

PAYMENT POLICIES

REGISTRATION: There is a NON-REFUNDABLE, annual registration fee of $35.00 per new student or a $25 prior year returning student. First month’s tuition and registration fee are required to register, except for summer classes. THERE IS NO REGISTRATION FEE FOR SUMMER CLASSES.

TUITION: Monthly tuition has been set to average holidays, performance dates and four/five week months and is therefore charged equally each month. Tuition is not prorated due to student absences, but you may schedule a make-up class. If you join in the middle of a month, your tuition will be prorated based on the date of the first class. Summer classes are only 4-6 weeks and paid in full upon registration. SUMMER TUITION IS NON-REFUNDABLE. Also, in the event a class does not make the minimum enrollment requirements, DDI reserves the right to cancel that class, and will issue a full refund for the classes that were not conducted as well as registration fees if no other class is chosen in its place.

There is a $15.00 service fee as a result of any payment returned to Destiny Dance Institute for insufficient funds.

WITHDRAWAL:
Withdrawal from class must be emailed to info@destinydanceinstitute.com at least 30 days prior to effective date of withdrawal. You will be held responsible for all tuition and fees due until proper withdrawal has been submitted.

DRESS CODE
Destiny Dance Institute has a dress code for all pre-dance, pre-ballet, ballet and jazz classes. The dress code is found on the website. All dancers enrolled in one of these classes will need to be in dress code by October.

CLASS ATTENDANCE

MAKE-UP POLICY: Refunds or prorating will not be issued due to absences. Only 6 make-ups per year are allowed. It is the parent’s responsibility to schedule a make-up with the office staff. Frequent tardiness and absences may result in losing the opportunity to perform with the a class. Make-ups cannot be scheduled after May 15th, as classes will be working on their production numbers. Classes falling on Labor Day, Memorial and Easter weekend may be made up as a missed class.

INCLEMENT WEATHER: DDI will be closed if the weather is dangerous.  If the weather is questionable, call the studio or check our website for closing information.  We do not follow any particular school district closings.  There are NO MAKE-UPS due to bad weather closings.

2-5 Yr. Old CLASSES

Parents of 2-5 year old students are required to stay in the building during the class. This is to insure the safety and comfort of your child and in case of bathroom runs.

STUDIO / FACILITY

No one is permitted in a studio room unless they are partaking in a dance class.  Please do not allow younger siblings to play in an empty studio.
