Key To Understanding Class Levels:

Recreational (Rec) Classes*: Pre-Professional (PrePro) Classes**:

A= Beginner                                                                         2 = Ages 7-10 & dance at least twice a week

B= 2-3 years experience                                                     3 = Ages 10-up & dance at least 3 times a week

C= 3-6 years experience                                                    4 = Ages 10-up Advanced & dance 3 or more times a week

D= 6 or more years experience

*Recreational Classes are best for the beginner dancer up to the advanced dancer who may be involved in other activities and cannot committ to dancing multiple times a week. All Rec classes will learn a dance and may perform, but participating in the performance is always optional.

**Pre-Professional Classes are designed for the more serious dancer and for North Carolina Dance Synergy Members. Ballet-PrePro is only a technique class and will not perform. Other Pre-Professional Classes vary as to whether they will perform, but participating in the performance is always optional.

NCDS- North Carolina Dance Synergy is a non-profit dance company. Members are accepted by audition only and do not enroll into the company through DDI.
