Jazz Dancing

Jazz (9 yrs old and up)


 

DDI separates jazz and hip hop at age 9. Jazz is more classical than hip hop. Specific jazz turns, jumps and leaps are taught in line with correct body alignment. Coordination, flexibility, musicality, endurance and control are also developed. Students at every level enjoy this dynamic style of dance. A variety of jazz choreography will be introduced and explored. This class is a great compliment to ballet training.
