- WELCOME -

Destiny Dance Institute was established to provide the highest caliber of dance education in the Wake Forest area, offering professional instruction at all levels.  DDI desires to equip its students with the necessary training needed whether they have professional aspirations or just desire personal development.

PAYMENT POLICIES

REGISTRATION:  There is a NON-REFUNDABLE, annual registration fee of $25.00 per student.  Registration fee and one month’s tuition is required to register.
TUITION BILLING:  Monthly tuition has been set to average holidays, performance dates and four/five week months and is therefore charged equally each month.  Tuition's not prorated due to student absences.  Withdrawal from class must be submitted in writing to DDI at least 30 days prior to effective date of withdrawal.  You will be held responsible for all tuition and fees due until proper withdrawal has been submitted.
Tuition Payment Options:  1. Monthly draft from a checking account.  2. Check, Money Order or Credit Card payment for the full term.  DDI Schedule begins Mid Aug. ends in June.  For your convenience it is broken into 2 payments, Aug-Jan & Feb-June.  Required costume and production fees must be included with the semester payment.  There is a $25.00 service fee on any payment returned to DDI as insufficient funds.

PRE-DANCE CLASSES

Parents of pre-dance students are required to stay in the building during the class.  Pre-dance classes will have an in house presentation for the parents at the end of the year.

STUDIO / FACILITY

No one is permitted in a studio room unless they are partaking in a dance class.  Please do not allow younger siblings to play in an empty studio.

CLASS ATTENDANCE

Frequent tardiness and absences may result in losing your position in class and your tuition.
MAKE-UP POLICY: Only 6 make-ups per year are allowed.  It is the parent’s responsibility to schedule a make-up with the office staff.  Make-ups cannot be scheduled after May 15th, as classes will be working on their production numbers.  Classes falling on Labor Day, Memorial and Easter weekend may be made up as a missed class.
INCLEMENT WEATHER: DDI will be closed if the weather is dangerous.  If the weather is questionable call the studio for closing info.  We do not follow any particular school district closings.  There are NO MAKE-UPS due to bad weather closings.

PERFORMANCES & COSTUMES

Performance is considered an integral part of a student’s dance training.  Known conflicts with a performance date should be communicated in writing to the teacher as soon as possible as this will affect choreography.
SPRING PRODUCTION: Students are required to purchase their costume for the June Production.  Costumes are $65.00 and additional accessories may also be required.  A NON-REFUNDABLE $35.00 deposit for each costume is required by Oct. 15th for each student.  The balance for costumes is due Feb. 15th.  DDI does not pay for alterations.  Fees are NON-REFUNDABLE.
A NON-REFUNDABLE $40 production fee per family is due by March 15th.
